TGIF!

This has been one of those weeks you just can't wait to end.

Monday, Jeremy went to the doctor for his allergies and I also had an OB appt. He got some sample nasal spray which works great! They did a blood draw on me to check things out because I'm always tired and have to nap to make it through the day.

Wednesday, I heard back from the doctor's office. Turns out, my iron is low. I was glad it was something medical and not just me, but I'm not excited about taking iron supplements. Oh well, whatever is good for the baby, right?

Thursday (today) was a doozy. When Jeremy went to leave for 6:30 Mass, he discovered that our blue car was broken into overnight. It was unlocked, so nothing was actually broken and nothing was stolen. Our neighbor's car was broken into as well. Jeremy called and reported it.
When Clare woke up, she had a 102 degree fever. The only other symptom she has shown is lack of appetite. She hasn't eaten well for a few days. As soon as the medicine kicked in and brought her fever down, Bernadette's spiked. She also has no appetite now either. All day they've traded off this fever. I'm hoping its just a 24 hour thing, but I'm sure if its still around tomorrow, I'll agonize all day whether or not to take them in. Classic mama dilemma. Jeremy's sure they picked up something when we were just there on Monday. Did I mention Clare took a 3 hour nap today? We woke her up at 4. She hasn't napped that long ever I'm pretty sure. Bernadette's sleep fest took place from about 5:30 - 7:30 and she was still ready for bed.

We were out of town last weekend, so that makes this weekend all the more desirable. There are many house projects we are trying to tackle in order to get our house sell ready (eventually). We decided we better make it a place we wouldn't mind living in before trying to sell it to someone else. Hopefully our mile long to do list will be completed by the end of the summer.

  1. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your blog. I so celebrate hearing from other Catholic moms. I have to say I am probably twice your age and I so admire that you have the Faith, wisdom and love for your family at such a young age (also your husband does too) God is really working through you. God Bless your family.

  2. Kati! I hope the weekend has brought you some respite. I la-la-love reading your blog! (The pics and vids make it extra fun. Your girls are beautiful.) Tell the fam hello for me!

P.S. I laughed when I read your comment on the list of 52. Has Jeremy read through it? Do you still have it saved somewhere?
