Out of the mouths of babes...

The other day in the car, Bernadette shared with me,
B: (sadly) I wish I was two.
Me: Why do you wish you were two?
B: I wish I was two so I could get into mischief with Clare.

This morning Bernadette shared her dream with my husband.
B: Last night, I had a dream that it was Sunday and you were going to work and you couldn't kiss me because my breath smelled disgusting.

Clare's latest talent is pouting. If we ask her to stop doing something she's not supposed to, or to do something she doesn't want to, she sits down on the floor right where she is with her head hung low. The first time she did this, it took us a minute to figure out that she was actually pouting. Not tantruming, not crying (although sometimes whiny) - just sits with her head hung low and pouts.

We recently received a generous donation of lots of toys. Some of these toys are outside toys which the girls were lacking in and much appreciated. Yesterday was a beautiful day so I sent the girls out to play. After a little while, I went outside to check on them because I couldn't see them through the windows. Of course they weren't playing with all these new toys. They were collecting dirt in ice cream buckets at the side of the house.
