Attempted self portait of me and the girls...yes, we are in the bathroom...and yes, Clare fell asleep about 10 minutes after this pic was taken.
Cupcakes frosted by the girls and I for the May cousins birthday party - Clare turned 2, Elijah turned 4 and Jacob turned 12. Frosting them was a super messy project, but good for building their hand muscles! Not such a good lesson in self-control... :)
Clare's amazingly dark tan lines. Seriously, it looks like she just has a white swimsuit on. She tans like her daddy.
First fishing trip of the year. Saturday of Father's day weekend. Each of the girls caught one fish in the hour we were out before it started storming. Clare's fish flopped off the line before we could get a picture of it.

We took an impromptu vacation a couple of weekends ago. Random silliness ensued including Bernard the Hippo driving the van...so dangerous...
Clare hand crushing strawberries for me that we picked at the strawberry patch and made into jam!
Bernadette posing with our deck garden. It looks so much more impressive now, I should have taken a new picture, but the pots are cute, right? We bought cheap ones and painted them with left over paint we had. It is the perfect garden for me this year. Conveniently close to the house and located just a few feet from their kiddy pool so super easy to water! Not to mention all the extra watering that gets done by my little helpers.
