Terrible Twos

Our house has been anything but peaceful these last couple of days. It seems my 2 1/2 year old decided that she is going to act like a 2 year old. I was not ready for this. She's testing me and I'm failing. I hope this test is over soon.

The buttons I've been trying so hard to hide seem to be constantly under her finger. Over the past couple of days, I don't know how many times this exchange has occurred:

Me: I'm sorry, Bernadette, Mama's just cranky.
B: You should drink some coffee.

Coffee is typically my liquid patience - but even that has been failing me this week.

Today is a new day. St. Joseph, Pray for us!

  1. Liquid patience--I LOVE it! That made me laugh so hard! I will treat myself to a RockStar occasionally (about the same caffeine as a strong cup of coffee) and I call it a nap in a can.

Don't feel that you're failing! She's testing her limits and will soon remember who's the boss. They're really good at finding those buttons, aren't they? ;)
