Every night, I pray a decade of the rosary with my two year old. We have a book called Scriptural Rosary for Children (one of the St. Joseph Picture book series) that we use. There is a snippet from the Bible about each mystery and a picture to go along with it. After we get done with our decade, Bernadette likes to look through the book and ask who every one is. Last night, she got stuck on this picture:
First, she asked, "What is the Holy Spirit eating? Is he eating bread?" It took me a few seconds to figure out what she was saying and why she was saying it. I explained to her that it was a halo like the one Jesus and Mary have.
Then, she chuckled and said "It looks like God is going to poke Jesus!" I literally laughed out loud and replied, "You know, it kinda does."
