Outside my window... It is a decent winter day from the inside. It looks sunny and beautiful. Outside, it is windy and chilly. It is a nice day to look out my window.
I am thinking... of giving up naps for Lent. On days that I try to nap, my girls don't want to and I end up getting frustrated and cranky. I would be better off if I didn't even try.
I am thankful for... my husband and Google Chat. More specifically Google Chatting with my husband. While he is at work, I can hop on the computer any time for a quick "I love you."
From the learning rooms... We went to story time at the book store today instead of doing school. This week, we are using The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter to learn the letters "k" and "l" and about rhyming words.
From the kitchen... Tonight we are having Tatortot Casserole - my husband's request. I have been unable to have dairy for the last 9 months because of my nursing baby. She seems to be over it, but I am still weary. I might be having something non-dairy for supper and fix the casserole for him and Bernadette. I plan on making bread and an apple pie sometime this week.
I am wearing... Jeans and a lavendar shirt. I wish I was wearing sweats. :)
I am creating... Next week's curriculum and cross stitching Clare's Christmas stocking.
I am going... to stay home this evening. I have a feeling we'll be playing Cootie again.
I am reading... Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. It is a very long book. I have a prejudice against abridged books. We read the abridged version in high school so I feel I need to make up for it by reading the real thing. I wish I was reading one of the new homeschooling books my husband gave me or a book a friend of mine recommended on motherhood.
I am hoping... Clare is over her dairy intolerance and my husband won't have to sleep in the recliner with her tonight.
I am hearing... My two year old play with her doll house and my 9 month old regretting the shortness of her nap.
Around the house... Bernadette and I cleaned up the bathroom today as part of her chores.
One of my favorite things... When we have a good day at storytime. No one cried or ran away! :)
A few plans for the rest of the week: Toddler time at the library on Tuesday. Ash Wednesday Mass. Special Olympics basketball practice Thursday.
Here is picture thought I am sharing... Clare is 9 months old today. :)

Oh my gosh! I haven't seen her in awhile and she looks like such a little girl. That hair! Those eyes! What a cutie.
