Crazy 8s

Aubrey at Laughing All the Way tagged me for this meme! Enjoy!

8 Things I am Looking Forward to:
1. Easter!
2. My baby's 1 year birthday.
3. The other laptop getting finished. My husband reformatted it and its almost done. All the stuff I need for school and my April menu are on there!
4. Good Friday services tomorrow night. It is my favorite of the Tridium services and the only one we will be attending this year. I think Bernadette will enjoy it, especially the Veneration of the Cross. She's a little obsessed with "Jesus on the Cross" and concerned with "Jesus getting off the Cross."
5. Getting a package in the mail either today or tomorrow that contains my new running shoes.
6. Decorating Easter eggs and making fun Easter desserts with my little brother on Saturday.
7. Building our dream house in 4 years.
8. Taking a vacation this summer with my husband and my kids.

8 Things I did Yesterday:
1. Took an impromptu day trip to the Outlet Mall in Gretna. My husband took half a vacation day in the middle of the day. We kidnapped him, went shopping and then took him back. It was spontaneous and fun! We filled in the gaps of the girls' spring/summer wardrobe.
2. Read.
3. Went for a run when my husband came home from work. He's really supporting me in my jaunt at running. I wasn't planning on running yesterday, but he talked me into it.
4. Ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dessert.
5. Filled Easter eggs with our youth group for Saturday's egg hunt at our parish.
6. Picked up rocks. One of our landscapping projects this year is to re-mat under/around our rose bushes in our front yard. There is tons of grass growing around them despite the rockbed. We chip away at the rocks every time we go outside to draw with chalk. There are a ton of rocks.
7. Sat in the recliner with my baby for part of the night. We haven't figured out why, but sometime in the middle of the night (so I guess not yesterday, but early today) she woke up crying and uncomfortable. I held her for awhile, then passed her off to my husband.
8. Gave my girls lots of hugs and kisses! (I'm sure I do lots more than 8 things in a day, but its hard to come up with 8 when you have to)

8 Things I Wish I Could Do:
1. Go on a week long vacation with my family.
2. Get back to my pre-pregnancy weight (before Bernadette).
3. Get pregnant. :) (I'd rather get pregnant than lose the weight, but might as well try while I'm not pregnant)
4. Bake all the time.
5. Make a quilt. - its not that I can't, I just don't have the time)
6. Finish my wedding scrapbook and make ones for the girls.
7. Give 100% to Bernadette, Clare and Jeremy all at the same time.
8. Donate an unreal amount of money annonymously to someone who needs it.

8 Shows I Watch:
We only watch TV during football season. We watch our shows online after the kids go to bed.
1. Lost
2. House
3. Monk
4. Psych
5. Alfred Hitchcock Presents (on hulu.com)
6. Lie to Me
7. We've watched a few episodes of The Office.
8. I watch Blue's Clues, Sesame Street or Veggie Tales about once a week with Bernadette.

8 5 People I Tag:
Only if you want to participate! :)
1. Sandra
2. Kim

4. Amanda

  1. This was great Kati-I'll help you out and volunteer to be the recipient of your "anonymous donation"...totally a sacrifice on our part of course and simply to help fulfill your wishes! :-P Thanks for tagging me; I'll try to do it tonight or tomorrow morning. Oh, & thanks for your encouraging call today about the (dramatic music please) house saga.
