Our New Playset

For Clare’s birthday, my in-laws bought us the girls, a new play set. We were all super excited to get it put together. My brother-in-law came on two week night evenings to help out and between him and my husband, they got all the wood cut to size and this much put together:

It is pretty huge, and super neat. For the rest of the week, the girls and I were Jeremy’s building helpers. The girls were actually, surprisingly, pretty helpful.

Now, it is almost finished. It only needs a few extras put into place like the steering wheel and the handles for the rock wall, but we are thoroughly enjoying the new edition to our back yard. Here are a few pictures of the almost finished product.

Here are the three swing hook ups presently holding a swing, baby swing and the bronco.

On this side, you can see the unfinished rock wall, and the slide. Beneath is the picnic table, equipped with today’s picnic lunch.

Here are Bernadette and Clare eating their lunch. Bernadette is on the bench and Clare is sitting in her high chair which fits quite nicely.

These are the stone steps and Clare. :)
