Kids amaze me.
This morning, I woke up Bernadette and she was sitting in her bed while I was tending to Clare.
She said: "Do you hear that thunder?"
Me (confused because there was no thunder): "Did you hear thunder last night?"
B: "When I do this (closes her eyes as tight as she can for a few seconds), I hear thunder."
Me (still confused and thinking that she had a dream about thunder, or was just pretending): "Oh"
B: (Yawns) "There's thunder when I yawn, too!"
Me (finally catching on): "Oh! Neat! When I do that, I hear it, too!"
It's true, when you close your eyes tight or yawn, it does sound like thunder in your head!
