We had our ultrasound on Monday. We did find out whether it is a boy or a girl and we have picked a name.
However, you have to work if you want to know. My husband and I came up with a game with the name (and gender) being revealed in the end. We did this with our girls, too, and have found that people are generally irritated at having to look things up and use their brains to figure it out. So, the game is easier this time around (we think).
This time, the game is Biblical. In order to avoid translation confusion, we used this online version of the NAB.
Here's the rules of the game:
Step 1 - Use the Bible verses below to build a phrase. The clues will be written Book Chapter:Verse (Word Number) - the number in parenthesis will indicate what word in the verse you will need for the phrase.
Step 2 - Unscramble the letters from the phrase to discover the name (and gender) of our baby!
The Clues:
1 Thessalonians 5:10 (5th word)
Matthew 5:44 (2nd word)
Matthew 26:37 (14th word)
Sirach 12:1 (11th word)
Psalms 130:2 (4th word)
Good Luck!
The answer will be revealed on Friday.
