4, 4, 4 and 3

We celebrated the October/November birthdays in my family with a party at Lost in Fun. There was one 3 year old and 3 four year olds.

I have been wanting to make a pumpkin shaped cake for a few years now, but never wanted to make a huge cake for our little family, so this birthday party was the perfect opportunity. I wanted to make it an actual pumpkin cake, but decided not everyone likes pumpkin (especially littles), so I made the top white and the bottom chocolate. The cakes were baked one at a time in a glass bowl. The jack-o-lantern features were cut from a fruit roll-up. The stem is a fun size candy bar. I was very pleased at how well it turned out! I think the kids all enjoyed it, too.
