SOLD!

Tuesday evening, we sold our house!  We accepted an offer from a couple who is moving here from West Virginia.  The closing date was originally set for November 30th, but has since been moved up to November 22nd.  That gives us 5 weekends to get packed up and more importantly to find a place to rent while our new house is built. 

It is not easy finding an apartment that is big enough for our family of 5.  We’ve called about 7 places so far and only found 2 that will have openings mid-November.  We still have 7 more to call today.  FYI- It is not easy to make important phone calls with littles around.  Yesterday worked out because Felicity took a great nap and the girls played outside for about half of that nap.  Unfortunately, it is supposed to rain today, so a quiet minute will be harder to find. 

Fortunately, most of our stuff is packed up already.  Because we packed most of it up last June/July I really want to go through those containers and purge some more.  We also need to re-label them for both the new house and whether they go to our apartment or storage. 

So, why am I blogging instead of working?  Probably to explain why blogs will be fewer and farther between than usual.  But perhaps to collect my thoughts before diving in.
