Recently, my husband and I went through our finances and made a new budget. We did our best to think of everything and budget accordingly, setting up transactions to automatically transfer money into different accounts for things like insurance, gifts and school stuff. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much money left over for spending money on things we need for the house like a riding lawn mower and deck stairs. It isn’t practical for me to get a job or my husband to get a second job, so I’m embarking on a project I can do from home.
Making money by saving money.
I’m going to attempt for the month of August to save $100. I have allocated it to saving $20 off our food budget, $40 off our entertainment budget, $20 off our gift budget and $20 off our personal needs (hygiene, clothes, baby wipes, etc) budget.
Stay tuned as I attempt to blog about my progress…
The less you need, the richer you are. Good luck!
