Success 1: I have been running almost every day for a week now. I have always loved running (mostly on the treadmill) but never really tried running outside much. My route is a little more than a half a mile, and it kicks my tail every time I do it. I do enjoy the 10 minutes of quiet time and it rejuvinates me for the rest of the day. I hope it gets easier soon!
Success 2: It is 2:00 and Bernadette has been dry all day and she's wearing undies! I almost gave up hope about a week ago, thinking that I would have to give it up and try again later, but then she started to do great. She hasn't shown the initiative yet, but she holds in her potties until I put her on - even when we go places. She's also starting to try to hold it in during nap time. We bought her some Elmo undies to help. She gets to put on a pair in the morning and as long as she stays dry, she gets to keep wearing them (unless we go somewhere, then she has to wear a pull-up). She doesn't want to wear diapers or pull-ups anymore and we are so proud of her! She won't be trained by Easter like we had originally hoped, but she is doing so good that I can't even begin to complain.
Success 3: I am 40 pages from being done with Les Miserables. I think I've been reading it since January. I am so close to the end, I just want to curl up and finish it, but duty calls...and laundry needs folded, dishes need done, supper needs made, etc. I am just hoping I can finish it by Easter so I can start reading A Mother's Rule of Life.
