I filled this container full of all the toys, books, ornaments, containers, socks, window clings, everything that was on the living room floor where it didn’t belong. I had planned on vacuuming our rug and Swiffering the wood floors with this vacuum.
I start Swiffering for about 10 seconds and it dies. Don’t get me wrong, I love our Swiffer vac, but if it is not plugged in right up until you use it, it doesn’t hold its charge. :(
Hopefully it will charge up before I have another 18 gallon tote’s worth of stuff on the floor.
Is it a lightweight one? We have this Bissell one and it was great for a few months, but then it did the SAME thing you just described. I would have to keep it charged until I used it and even then it would barley last through getting the whole kitchen floor and entry area cleaned. It drove me nuts. I wonder if it has something to do with the charting system and it being a lightweight cleaner...who knows. But I can totally sympathize with your frustration!
