FSBO

We are now T-8 days until our goal date to have our house listed FSBO. We have been working our tails off trying to get through this monster to-do list of minor home improvements while packing up some non essentials.
We did decide to talk things over with CL Construction after many many suggestions. :) We knew they did remodeling and things like that, but we were unaware that they also built houses. We've had one phone call so far and already feel at peace with our decision to switch and more confident we will get exactly what we want.
Our plan is to list our current home FSBO for awhile. With the two girls making messes all day and the baby on the way, it will be nice to be in control of when people want to take a look. The market is slow right now, but interest rates are very low, so we'll see. We aren't planning on being very aggressive about selling it right now - we'll put it up on Craigslist and in the Church bulletin and, of course, a sign in our yard - but other than that, we are confident that if this is what God wants us to do, it will happen in His time.
Anyway, once we get our house sold, we will move into an apartment where we will stay until our new house is built - whether that is in 6 months or a year and 6 months. Again, we know it will happen in God's time if it is His will.
Right now, I'm not anxious about it. Ask me in 6 months when our house still hasn't sold and that will probably be a different story. :) Today, I will focus on being as big of a help as I can and not bumping anyone with my 34 week big belly (poor Bernadette, she is just at the wrong height...).
