Outside my window... It is cold cold cold! There is a blanket of snow over everything from the snow storm we had this weekend.

I am thinking... There are a few other things I should be doing instead of this right now. My microwave is reminding me that I have a soup to make and put in the crock pot. I also didn't get this weeks curriculum preparations finished yet.

I am thankful for... My husband. He did a load of dishes before I even woke up. He is so good to me.

From the learning rooms... This week, Bernadette will practice more with rhyming words and learn the letters m and n with the help of the book The Story about Ping by Marjorie Flack and Kurt Wiese

From the kitchen... I made out a menu for the entire month of March last week. We are having a soup that will cook in the crock pot all day today. We also bought some peaches on sale this weekend and I am excited to try my hand at either peach pie or peach cobbler.

I am wearing... a jean skirt, a long sleeved blue shirt and socks.

I am creating... Drawings to supplement our lessons this week.

I am going... to the book store for story time today. My sister who works every weekday but Monday called last night to see if we wanted to go to story time again this week. It is nice to spend time with her and my nephew, so I couldn't refuse.

I am reading... Les Miserables...still

I am hoping... Potty training goes well this week. We didn't do so well over the weekend, but we're hoping to start fresh today!

I am hearing... The dishwasher gentle reminder of my husband's love for me.

Around the house... We organized a closet this weekend. We now have 3 boxes to donate. We also took a box of toys to my parents' house yesterday for the grandkids to play with.

One of my favorite things... Slow-paced, relaxing weekend. The snow caused us to stay home and inside this weekend instead of doing the errands we had planned. The snow was a blessing in disguise. We didn't get much done, but it turned out wonderful.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Story time today. Wednesday, our youth group kids will play a basketball scrimmage against our Special Olympics teams. Thursday, we will have basketball practice. Saturday is the regional Special Olympics competition! Go Villa Marie!

Here is picture thought I am sharing... Toddlers, and especially 2 year olds, live to make us laugh. Sometimes, they even make us laugh in their sleep. When asked why she was wearing her black shoes, Bernadette logically responded, "Because my feet were cold."
