Outside my window... It is a cloudy 52 degree afternoon. There is bits a green here and there in the grass and I am reminded by my 2 year old that she gets to take her dolly stroller outside soon. (We told her she could when the grass turns green.)
I am thinking... how nice it is to have my husband home from work today. I only wish he didn't have the flu.
I am thankful for... the health of me and my baby. I have thus far been able to take care of my husband and 2 year old through their bouts with the flu.
From the learning rooms... We will learn the lowercase letters "o" and "p" through the use of the book Blueberries for Sal by Robert McCloskey. I am also hoping to begin adding some fun poems.
From the kitchen... tonight, homemade baked beans from the crock pot over baked potatoes. For the rest of the week, I will be following my March menu. I am also going to make some peach muffins.
I am wearing... My jean skirt, a long sleeved red shirt with a St. Teresa's sweatshirt over it and socks.
I am creating... I am working on a cross stitched Christmas stocking for Clare.
I am going... No where until everyone is healthy again.
I am reading... Still Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. I am just about to the halfway point. I checked out some books from the library for my husband to read, so hopefully I'll get more opportunities to read.
I am hoping... Clare and I stay healthy.
I am hearing... the hum of my laptop...and that is all...ahhh! So peaceful in my house right now!
Around the house... My husband and I took advantage of his sick day to file away all our 2008 papers and things that need filed and reorganize it for 2009. It feels so good to have that done!
One of my favorite things... The peaceful quietness of a resting family.
A few plans for the rest of the week: I will take advantage of the relaxed schedule and work on my house cleaning list.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
In the back row are some of our Godteens. The front rows are Jeremy's Special Olympics basketball teams. We had a scrimmage last week. Everyone had lots of fun!
